We opened in June 2019, and ever since that beautiful summer day, have been working hard to offer you beautiful, quirky fashion, gifts, cards and homewares.
In addition to stocking well known brands, we are proud to also be able to support a number of local talented artisans, who lovingly and skilfully create beautiful one off pieces.
The Wild Ginger wants you to feel great about your purchases, whether as a treat for yourself or someone else. We want every visit to our shop (both online and in person) to feel you are exploring a hidden treasure trove and catching up with a friend.
WHO IS BEHIND THE WILD GINGER ?
It's me. Sarah
Some folk thought I was absolutely bonkers opening up on the high street in todays climate (and, I won't lie, many a time I've agreed with them!). There is no doubt its been incredibly hardwork and an epic rollercoaster of emotions. That said, I LOVE MY JOB, MY TEAM, the ARTISTS I work with and my SHOP. I have a real passion to be part of, and bring something new and different to, the community and have faith in my vision.
Feedback from customers has already demonstrated we are getting there. We have the BEST CUSTOMERS WE COULD WISH FOR. Supportive, loyal, kind and caring. The external challenges we have endured to date have only made us stronger and more determined to succeed (its tough being an independent).
